Trang is famous for many gifts: Screw pine mats, Muk (small containers), products made from ray skins like bags and shoes and basketry from a local plant, woodcarving made at Ban Nong Prue, Rubber wood toys and woven clothes made at Ban Na Muen Si.

Trang is also well known for local sweets and food: Roast pork and hot coffee (typical breakfast), many flavored cakes, fresh seafood, and durian.

Local souvenir and product sales centres are concentrated in hotel souvenir shops, the airport and the Local Product Sales Centre on the Trang-Phatthalung Road (beside the governor’s residence). Trang High Class (tel. 0-7521-1167) produces and sells products made from ray skins and Plan Toys( tel. 0-7521-2948) sells toys made from rubber wood in Amphoe Yan Ta Khao.
